Join with your neighbors in the spirit of love this Valentine’s Day to discuss the growing threat of ICE and what we can do about it! We will have training and resources on knowing your rights and related topics. We will also assemble 500 whistle kits to deliver to vulnerable populations in our area. Come get your questions answered, share your concerns and stories with us, and learn how to get involved!

This event will be in the Virginia-Highlands area. Exact location will be emailed to attendees prior to event.

This event is organized by 50501 Georgia in partnership with Indivisible ATL.

Join us in packing the Columbia County Commissioner's Meeting on Wednesday evening at Bel Air Elementary, 3929 Harper-Franklin Ave in Augusta, GA! There is another hearing on re-zoning property to allow for 4 proposed data centers with public comment available via signup.

Please join us for ICE Out Home Depot on Saturday, February 7 at the Home Depot Headquarters (Cumberland Parkway SE & Paces Ferry Road SE, Vinings, GA 30339) from 2:30 - 4:00 pm as we demand that Home Depot and other corporations stop cooperating with the DHS agents who are terrorizing communities across the country.

Join us on Sunday at 3pm to march from Selena Butler Park to the GA State Capitol Building. Those who wish to can proceed with us to the Atlanta ICE Field Office.⁨⁩ ⁨

We are so grateful to be part of this organization of fantastic volunteers and to be building community with all of you! There has been so much happening from politics to personal lives. Let's slow down for a moment, build community, and enjoy some time together.

⁨Community Vigil for Alex Pretti

Please join us this Thursday, January 29th at 7:00 PM at Virginia-Highland Church as we gather in community to honor Alex Pretti, who was killed at the hands of ICE on January 24.

This vigil is a space to grieve, to remember, and to hold one another as we reflect on the growing number of lives lost or forever changed by ICE. We refuse to let these names disappear. We come together to say them out loud, to witness, and to care for one another in the midst of loss.

During the vigil, there will be a live painting of Alex Pretti, created in real time as part of the service. We will also hold a reading of the names of those killed by ICE, honoring each life with intention, including the names of Keith Porter and Heber Sanchez.

Community Estrella will be creating an ofrenda (memorial altar), and attendees are invited to bring a sacred item: a photo, flower, note, or object to place on the altar in remembrance. Flameless candles will be available but in limited quantities to use during the vigil. We encourage you to bring your own.

Come as you are. Let’s be together in remembrance and solidarity. Limited street parking will be available along with parking at Virginia-Highland Elementary, carpooling is recommended. Please allow yourself time to find parking.

⁨Join a coalition of local organizations and faith leaders this evening (Sunday, January 25) at 7pm for a virtual community vigil to honor Alex Pretti, killed on January 24, and others killed by ICE such as Keith Porter and Heber Sanchez.

If possible, bring your own jarred or battery-powered candle.
